Summer Reading Wind-Down and another Team-Up!

Okay, then… one Summertime Mini-Review left for this summer and it will be Halo: The Fall of Reach by Eric S. Nylund on a recommendation from Billy in the O.C.  And we’ve got at least one more author team-up to get through.  It is The Long Earth by Terry Pratchett and Stephen Baxter.  Yup. The same Pratchett I was less-than-kind to in a review of Good Omens.  I opined that Pratchett and Gaiman had something going on but it just missed the mark hard with Good Omens.  We’ll see.  We’re going to give Pratchett another turn, and so far The Worm is digging on The Long Earth.

So that is where we are!  Don’t know what genre is coming up next or what type of list we’ll do – but I’m working on some ideas.  Also, in November we will put out our holiday gift recommendations, tailored for the quirky readers in your life.  In February we will tabulate the most popular characters, scenes, authors, villains, themes, etc. in our first ever Pointless List Making Exercise that is Wholly Arbitrary and Without Any Cache (or Cash) Whatsoever event.  It is a work in progress so we may tweak the name a little bit before then.

You’re up to date.  See you soon.  Worm Out.
